MPs to inspect National Police, Prisons Service housing projects
The National Assembly Departmental Committee on Housing is scheduled to conduct inspection visits to the National Police and Kenya Prisons Services Housing Projects on Friday, October 13, 2023.
The MPs are scheduled to visit AP Training College, Nairobi in the morning hours and Ruiru G.K prisons in the afternoon.
Adhoc Committee on Shakahola to meet Pastor Ezekiel
The Adhoc Committee on Shakahola will on Friday, October 13, 2023, hold meetings with Pastor Ezekiel Odero of New Life Church.
The Committee will also meet Director of Criminal Investigations Amin Mohamed, Chief Government Pathologist Dr Johansen Oduor and security officers who served in Kilifi County but transferred after the Shakahola tragedy.
Sakaja to assent to the Nairobi County Finance Bill
Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja will assent to the Nairobi County Finance Bill at 10:00 am at City Hall.
The bill was passed on Thursday, October 12, 2023, by the Nairobi County Assembly.
Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya to oppose KDA Bill
The Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya (PSK) is set to issue a statement opposing the proposed amendments to the Kenya Drugs Authority (KDA) Bill, claiming it jeopardises public safety and local vaccine production.
