Karua: I will never work with Ruto
Narc Kenya Party Leader Martha Karua has made it clear that she will not be working with President William Ruto.
Speaking during a live interview with a local TV Station on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, Karua who was responding to an X user who had asked if she would have agreed to Ruto’s proposal had she been offered a slot stressed that it would be impossible for her to work with the president.

Karua additionally pointed out that she was okay with working with Azimio la Umoja – One Kenya coalition leader Raila Odinga since he is easy to work with and positively handles indifferences.
“Of course, I wouldn’t work for William Ruto, whatever changes and quality of people he gets, he is the minister for everything, he will not let anybody work, I have experience of working with these people in parliament, I know at least working with Raila, he is easy to work with; you can differ but you can easily sit across the table and discuss it, there is no way I would accept to work for William Ruto and they didn’t ask me, let me not put it as if they asked, I also know my position,” she added.
