Jubilee Party mourns death of Isiolo South MP Mohamed Tubi

In a statement issued by Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, the party described the late legislator as a devoted public servant, committed to justice, humility, and service to his constituents.
Tubi was celebrated within Jubilee as a steadfast leader who championed unity, equity, and development.
“It is with profound sadness that the Jubilee Party mourns the passing of Hon. Tubi Bidu Mohamed, Member of Parliament for Isiolo South Constituency. Hon. Tubi was a true servant of the people, a steadfast believer in justice, and a leader deeply rooted in the values of humility and service. Within our party, he stood out as a gallant soldier, unwavering in his commitment to the ideals of unity, equity, and development for all. His dedication to his constituents and to Kenya at large will be remembered with deep respect and admiration,” Kioni wrote on X.

Tubi’s dedication and leadership
The party further acknowledged his significant contributions to Isiolo South and the nation at large, noting that his dedication and leadership would be remembered with respect and admiration.
“As a party, we have lost not only a leader but a brother, a man who believed that leadership is about lifting others and giving hope where it seemed lost. His legacy will live on through the lives he touched and the progress he championed for Isiolo South,” the statement read.
Jubilee extended heartfelt condolences to Tubi’s family, friends, and the people of Isiolo South, praying that they find comfort and strength during this difficult period.
“We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and the great people of Isiolo South. May you find comfort and strength in this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Fare thee well, Hon. Tubi Bidu Mohamed. You served your people with honour, and your light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew you,” Kioni stated.

Mohamed Tubi’s death
Tubi died on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, while receiving treatment at the Nairobi Hospital.
In a message to the nation, National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula confirmed the passing of the first-term lawmaker, describing it as a great loss to Parliament and the country.
