Detectives recover a car stolen from Ruai police station

Sleuths from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations(DCI) on Monday recovered a Toyota Vitz stolen from Ruai Police Station.

According to a statement by the DCI, the vehicle registration number KCU 249S was recovered among several other vehicles also suspected to have been stolen.

“Following a theft of motor vehicle report that was made at Ruai Police Station, DCI detectives based at Ruai conducted an operation within the area and managed to recover the stolen vehicle, a Toyota Vitz,” said the DCI.

In the operation, the sleuths also arrested three suspects namely Sammy Ngaii, Moffat Omasi and Beautan Momanyi, all connected to the crime.
