By , February 26, 2022

Businessman Jimi Wanjigi has on Saturday, February 26, 2022, proclaimed that his political relationship with ODM leader Raila Odinga is officially over.

The disgruntled presidential aspirant, who addressed a presser barely hours after he was evicted from the ODM National Delegates Conference, also stated that he ceases being a member of the Orange party.

“My relationship with Raila, at least in the political space, is seemingly over. From today, I have been shown the door by ODM. I have been kicked and I say thank you,” he said.

The business magnate further disclosed that he will soon announce his political direction in his quest for the presidency.

Wanjigi blamed ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna for sanctioning the violence that was meted on him by youths at the Kasarani Stadium.

The presidential hopeful narrated that he was warmly welcomed by the security detail before Sifuna allegedly ordered rowdy youths to whisk him and his allies away.

“We were welcomed until we got to the entrance of the VIP. At that entrance, the Secretary-General ordered some goons to chase us out. I forgive the Secretary-General but l wholly hold the party Raila Odinga responsible for what has happened to me,” he added.
