Morara promises free INJECT party tickets for youth aspiring for political seats

Inclusive National Justice, Economic & Civic Transformation (INJECT) Party leader Morara Kebaso has announced that all young people across Kenya who wish to vie for leadership positions in the next general election under his party will receive free party nomination tickets.
Taking to his official X account on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, Morara said the move is aimed at encouraging more young people to join politics and take up leadership roles in the country.
“I promise free party tickets for all youths seeking to vie for positions of leadership across Kenya with the INJECT Party. Let us take over this country and show them how it should be done,” he declared.
Morara has been championing youth leadership in the country, and the announcement is a potential game-changer that could inspire more young people to participate in politics ahead of the 2027 elections.

Morara on 2027 elections
On Saturday, April 19, 2025, Morara urged the youth to shun tribalism ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The government accountability advocate, in his Easter Holiday video message to Kenyans that he shared via his official social media accounts, argued that tribalism has for a long time denied Kenyans an opportunity to get leaders because people are ready to vote for anybody from their tribe without looking at the candidates’ integrity and their capacity to deliver.
He hinted at forming a grand alliance that will bring together leaders of integrity, who he says will not be coming as kingpins of their tribe but as leaders ready to transform the nation.
“For a long time, tribalism has denied us an opportunity to get leaders in this country because people are ready to vote for anybody from their tribe without looking at the integrity of this leader and their capacity to deliver and their vision for this country.
“This time round, we are going to bring together a grand alliance of leaders of integrity who are not coming as kingpins of their tribe but as leaders ready to transform this nation. These leaders will raise an army of followers who are ready to vote beyond their tribe just by looking at the vision of this country,” Morara said.

Morara on tribal leaders
Morara also warned against supporting certain opposition leaders who promote tribalism, saying they are merely uniting with the sole aim of removing President William Ruto without offering a clear alternative vision.
“Ladies and gentlemen, I am here to give you hope that our country will change because we are willing and ready, and we have that vision. I encourage the youth of Kenya not to board that bus of tribalism, of clueless opposition leaders who are just uniting but do not have a vision except removing the president,” Morara argued.
“Our vision must go beyond William Ruto; we must think beyond removing the president. What is our vision? What is our stand on corruption? How will we turn around our economy and give jobs and opportunities to young people who have given up hope in society? How will we deliver justice to victims of police brutality? This is the question that lingers in our minds, and we are not boarding that vehicle of tribalism and tribal alliances just because you want to defeat the president.”
