The Jubilee Party has officially responded after its Deputy Organising Secretary, Pauline Njoroge, resigned to focus on the Linda Mwananchi movement activities led by Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna.

In a statement dated Tuesday, July 21, 2026, and signed by Secretary General Moitalel Ole Kenta, the party acknowledged Njoroge’s resignation and thanked her for her years of service and contribution to the party.

Jubilee described Njoroge as a committed and resilient leader who had served the party with distinction for the past 14 years. The party noted that she had consistently championed democratic ideals and played a significant role in strengthening the party during her tenure.

“While her departure marks the end of an important chapter, we respect her decision and acknowledge the invaluable contribution she made to the growth and strengthening of our party during her tenure,” the statement reads.

The party wished Njoroge success in her future endeavours, expressing gratitude for her dedication and commitment over the years.

The statement comes shortly after Pauline Njoroge announced her resignation from the Jubilee Party and declared that she had joined the Linda Mwananchi movement, where she is expected to play a key role in mobilising support ahead of the 2027 General Election.

Pauline’s resignation

This comes moments after political strategist Pauline Njoroge resigned from the Jubilee Party after 14 years within its political network.

Njoroge also resigned from the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC), where she served as deputy national organising secretary.

Her resignation took effect on Tuesday, July 21, 2026.

“I wish to announce my resignation from the National Executive Committee of the Jubilee Party, where I have served as Deputy Organising Secretary, and as a member of the Jubilee Party, effective today,” Njoroge stated.

Njoroge ends 14-year Jubilee journey

She remained within the political organisation when TNA, the United Republican Party and other parties merged to form the Jubilee Party.

Njoroge later joined the Jubilee Party leadership. Her appointment as deputy national organising secretary was formally gazetted in June 2025.

“Looking back, I do so with immense gratitude. For someone deeply passionate about politics and strategic communications, these fourteen years have been nothing short of transformational,” she stated.

Njoroge thanked retired President Uhuru Kenyatta for mentoring her and supporting her political growth.

“He has been more than a leader to me. He has been a mentor, a teacher and a political father,” she said.

“He believed in me, entrusted me with responsibility and invested in my growth.”
