Political strategist Pauline Njoroge has resigned from the Jubilee Party after 14 years within its political network.

Njoroge also resigned from the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC), where she served as Deputy National Organising Secretary.

Her resignation took effect on Tuesday, July 21, 2026.

“I wish to announce my resignation from the National Executive Committee of the Jubilee Party, where I have served as Deputy Organising Secretary, and as a member of the Jubilee Party, effective today,” Njoroge stated.

Njoroge ends 14-year Jubilee journey

Njoroge joined The National Alliance (TNA) in 2012 as a communications manager.

She remained within the political organisation when TNA, the United Republican Party and other parties merged to form the Jubilee Party.

Njoroge later joined the Jubilee Party leadership. Her appointment as Deputy National Organising Secretary was formally gazetted in June 2025.

“Looking back, I do so with immense gratitude. For someone deeply passionate about politics and strategic communications, these fourteen years have been nothing short of transformational,” she stated.

Njoroge thanked former President Uhuru Kenyatta for mentoring her and supporting her political growth.

“He has been more than a leader to me. He has been a mentor, a teacher and a political father,” she said.

“He believed in me, entrusted me with responsibility and invested in my growth.”

Njoroge said Kenyatta would remain an important source of political advice despite her departure from Jubilee.

“As I embark on this new chapter, he will continue to be a valued source of wisdom and counsel,” she stated.

Njoroge commits to Linda Mwananchi

Njoroge said she was leaving Jubilee to dedicate herself fully to the Linda Mwananchi political movement and the broader WANTAM campaign.

She has been involved in Linda Mwananchi activities since February 2026. The movement has conducted political rallies in several counties while promoting itself as an alternative opposition platform.

“Over the months, my conviction has only grown stronger that this movement represents an important platform for advancing the aspirations of our generation,” she stated.

Njoroge said Linda Mwananchi stood for good governance, constitutionalism, accountability and respect for human rights.

“This same conviction aligns me with the broader WANTAM call, a call not simply for political transition, but for national renewal anchored in integrity, constitutionalism and people-centred leadership,” she added.

Her resignation confirms her full political transition from the Uhuru Kenyatta-led Jubilee Party to Linda Mwananchi.

“As one chapter closes, another begins. I step into it with optimism, renewed purpose and an unwavering belief that Kenya deserves leadership that listens, unites and puts citizens first,” Njoroge stated.

Earlier in July, Njoroge withdrew from the Nairobi gubernatorial contest and endorsed Embakasi East MP Babu Owino.
