Mombasa electorate prefer Raila over Ruto – Infotrak reveals in latest opinion polls

Opinion poll agency Infotrak Research Limited has on Sunday March 20, 2022, released the results of an opinion poll survey it conducted in Mombasa county.

In the opinion poll survey, Infotrak sought to get the views of the electorate on various races for elective seats and the approval ratings of presidential aspirants.

In its findings on the views of the electorate on the presidential contest, the opinion poll agency reports that ODM leader Raila Odinga is the most preferred candidate with an approval rating of 52%.

Deputy President William Ruto, who has a number of times pitched tent in the coastal county in a bid to turn the tide against his key competitor Raila, came second with an approval rating of 29%.

Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka came a distant third with an approval rating of 1%.

According to the poll results, businessman Jimi Wanjigi, ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi, and KANU supremo Gideon would each garner a paltry 0.1% of votes in the coastal county.
