Jubilee Deputy Party leader Fred Matiang’i has joined his colleagues in the United Alternative Government for the Western Kenya tour, beginning the day in Trans Nzoia County with a warm welcome and breakfast hosted by Governor George Natembeya.

The United Alternative Government is set to wrap up its Western tour with some stops, which will start with a church service at Kibabii before meeting residents across Chewele, Misikhu, Naitiri, Kiminini, and Kitale town.

“I am pleased to join my colleagues in the United Alternative Government today for the Western Kenya tour in Trans Nzoia County. After a warm reception by Governor George Natembeya, we will worship with the faithful at Kibabii before meeting residents across Chewele, Misikhu, Naitiri, Kiminini, and Kitale Town,” Matiang’i stated.

“Together, we continue listening to the people, building consensus, and advancing a shared vision for a stronger, more united, and more prosperous Kenya,” he added.

As the conversations continue across the region, the focus remains on listening to wananchi, building unity, and advancing practical solutions that will create a stronger, more prosperous future for all Kenyans.

The Western Rally

The United Opposition’s Western Kenya political tour has entered its final stretch, with leaders set to make a series of stopovers across key towns as they intensify efforts to consolidate support ahead of their next phase of national engagements.

The campaign trail is expected to begin its final leg in Kibabii, a key education and community hub in Bungoma County, before proceeding to Chwele.

Thereafter, leaders will then head to Naitiri and Misikhu, both of which have historically played important roles in regional political mobilisation.

Afterwards, the leaders are expected to make stops in Kitale town, the economic heart of Trans Nzoia County, where a major rally is expected to attract supporters from across the region.

From Kitale, the convoy will move to Kiminini, a growing urban centre that has increasingly become a focal point for political engagements in the county.

As the Western Kenya tour approaches its conclusion, the United Opposition is expected to shift focus to upcoming national strategy meetings and broader coalition-building efforts across other regions of the country.
