Junet wants Ruto to resign for criticising government

By , January 11, 2022

Suna East Member of Parliament (MP) Junet Mohammed has asked Deputy President William Ruto to quit government instead of complaining against the same government he chest thumps to belong.

Speaking at a burial in Ong’ata Rongai, Kajiado County, Junet took a swipe at the DP saying he is a ‘hypocrite’ who does not mean well for Kenyans.

Junet termed Ruto’s apology over Meru Senator Mithika Lintiru’s madoadoa utterances as insincere and too late.

The legislature said the DP’s late apology was an afterthought that Kenyans would not take seriously.

“The DP should have condemned Lintiru sentiment immediately. That was sensitive and he should have faced Linturi head-on.

“We know he had instead sent him to test waters and his apology comes following Kenyans protests. I want to remind you to be very careful about these people,” Junet said.

Other leaders who were present at the burial included Kajiado Governor Joseph Ole Lenku, Mps Joseph Manje(Kajiado North), Peris Tobiko(Kajiado East), George Sunkuiya (Kajiado West) and a host other aspirants drawn from Kajiado County.
