Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his running mate Martha Karua will campaign in Kiambu and Kirinyaga counties on Monday, August 1.

The Azimio team will kick off today’s rallies at Kerugoya Stadium where Raila and Karua are expected to address a mega rally.

At noon, the Azimio team will head to Thika before ending their day at Kirigiti Stadium.

Raila endorsed by Maa community

On Sunday, July 31, Raila was endorsed for the presidency by the Maasai community in Narok in an event dubbed Fifth Suswa Declaration.

During the rally, the politicians allied to Raila launched a scathing attack on DP Ruto accusing him of spearheading a calculated smear campaign to incite Kenyans.

While describing Ruto as an ill-tempered politician who should not come close to power, Karua urged Kenyans to elect mature leaders in the forthcoming polls.
