World Athletics Relays: Omanyala and Moraa headline Kenya’s squad

Mary Moraa and Ferdinard Omanyala have been selected for the World Athletics Relays competition that will be held on Saturday and Sunday, May 10 and 11, 2025, in Guangzhou, China.

Moraa, the reigning Olympic bronze medalist and Omanyala, the Africa’s 100m record holder, are among the high-profile stars in the team that has 21 athletes.

Omanyala, who is also the Commonwealth 100m champion, missed the trials as he was in Botswana for the Grand Prix. In the team, he is joined by former national champion and record holder Mark Otieno as well as Meshack Babu.
