Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League Clubs Nairobi City Stars FC and Kenya Police FC have lost key players in a matter of days after they signed deals with foreign clubs

City Stars also referred to as Simba wa Nairobi have lost star midfield ace Timothy Ouma to Swedish giants IF Elfsborg on a four and half year deal.

The move will see the youngster who has enjoyed great success at the Slum Boys join a growing list of Kenyan footballers in the Scandinavian state including the trio of Eric Ouma, Collins Shichenje and Henry Mejja who ply their trade for fellow Allsvenskan side AIK.

Also decamping from Kenya, for the second time is the pair of striker John Makwatta and midfielder Duncan Otieno who have both penned two-year deals with Botswana Champions Gaborone United.

The duo who also played for AFC Leopards had previously been based in Zambia. Otieno who plays as a defensive midfielder played for Lusaka Dynamos while Makwatta was with multiple Zambian Champions Zesco United.

Meanwhile the situation with Kenyan International Joash Onyango at Tanzanian giants Simba SC is said to be fluid as his agents try to get him a new club.

Under new Serbian Manager Zoran Manojlović, the top centre-back who formerly played for Gor Mahia FC is said to be frustrated with the limited playing time he has had lately unlike under immediate previous Manager Pablo Franco Martin of Spain who was fired last month.
