Tusker striker Kapaito confident of ending goal-drought
Tusker FC forward Eric Kapaito expresses confidence that he will overcome his goal-scoring struggles in the FKF Premier League.
Despite having yet to score for the Brewers since joining from Kariobangi Sharks, Kapaito remains unfazed.

He insists that goal droughts are part of the sport. He emphasizes his dedication to training hard to break this run.
“It has been tough but I believe it is also part of the game, and I am working hard in training. I am doing my best to open the goal account, there is no pressure,” Kapaito told the club’s media.
Feeling that he is now at 100% fitness, Kapaito believes he is ready to play a full 90 minutes and asserts that everything is in place for him to start finding the back of the net.

“The fitness level is there, and I feel I can now play for 90 minutes; everything is in place only that I lack goals,” he adds.
Having joined Tusker after the expiration of his contract in Ethiopia, Kapaito expresses dissatisfaction with Tusker’s current performance, as they stand 12th on the league table after 12 rounds, having won only four matches.
Despite the challenging situation, Kapaito notes that the team is putting in collective efforts to improve their performance.
“We are working hard as a playing unit, we are not happy with the points haul and everyone is stepping up to change the situation,” he affirmed.
