“There are other clubs much older and with a much bigger fan base like Gor and AFC Leopards. As a club, we are looking forward to the days when we will have a significant fan base. Beyond the works of the executive we need the real fans to cheer the players on,” Omolo said.

Granted, the PS admitted to the challenges posed by the plan, as he backed the dedicated staff and members to get them there.

Consistency

“I know it takes a lot of sacrifices to achieve this. Each of us has what he’s doing on a full-time basis. I don’t go to the games as often as I would want. But I’ve noticed there is a lot of consistency going on with other members of the club, particularly the management and this is important” he noted.

In only their third season in top-flight football, Police is proving its readiness to not only rub shoulders with big boys but also cope with the demands of the elevated stage.
