Impressive Odongo
Despite facing personal challenges, Odongo has been a key player for Kenya 7s. He lost his mother in 2023 before the Olympics qualifiers, yet he went on to become the top scorer for Kenya 7s, scoring seven tries, including two in the final match against South Africa, securing Kenya’s qualification for the Olympics.
He also showcased his talent in the Safari 7s, scoring in the final, and excelled in the World 7s Challenger Series, scoring 11 tries for Shujaa as they emerged champions in Dubai.
