Mlolongo Galacticos win Betika Na Community

Mlolongo Galacticos were crowned Betika Na Community Machakos champions after emerging victorious in the tournament, an initiative of betting firm Betika, last weekend. 

The winners went home with a cash prize of Sh150,000 and a trophy for their efforts. 

Betika Na Community tournament is aimed at supporting local teams by building talent in the grassroots and giving them the required support in form of uniforms, balls, nets, cash and renovation of the pitches.

The Machakos tournament featured local community sides from the grassroots composed of 16 men and women’s teams that battled it out for the cup organised and facilitated by Betika through the Betika Na Community Initiative.

Betika will spend hundreds of millions of shillings towards holding such events and tournaments across the country, with a focus on community development at the grassroots level.
