Maintain peace, sports registrar tells members of AFC Leopards
Sports Registrar Rose Wasike has urged AFC Leopard’s members to maintain peace during the club meetings.
Wasike said AFC was a big club which supersedes personal interests and that it was prudent for the club to run its affairs with the tranquillity it deserves.
Wasike made the remarks in the wake of the disputes which arose during the Leopards Annual General Meeting at Nyayo National Stadium’s basketball gymnasium at the weekend.
During the function, shouting matches were the order of the day as a section of members rejected both the treasurer’s report, arguing that the audit was not in order.
As the members and the presiding officer failed to reach a consensus, it was declared that a Special General Meeting (SGM) be convened to solve the issue in consultation with the branches.
