Football Kenya Federation Premier League side AFC Leopards have announced the match venue changes in the league fixture against Posta Rangers scheduled for Friday, October 3, 2025.

The 1998 league winners have confirmed that the particular tie, which was originally planned to be held at the Nyayo National Stadium on the same day, has been moved to Dandora Stadium instead owing to the unavailability of the initial venue.

”Kindly note that due to the unavailability of Nyayo National Stadium, Posta Rangers FC will host us this Friday at Dandora Stadium in our second FKF-PL match of the season, which will kick off at 4:00 pm,” the club said in a statement on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

Ingwee will be seeking to record their first win of the season when they visit the Sammy (Pamzo) Omollo side in their second outing of the ongoing campaign after dropping points in their opening fixture against Sofapaka in their 1-1 draw on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Ulinzi Sports Complex.

It promises to be a tricky affair for Ingwe against the Mail Men, who completed a double against AFC Leopards last season.

Leopards’ long rest

Ingwee will be heading into Friday’s encounter after enjoying a long rest, as the side was not in action on the weekend of Saturday, September 27, 2025. This is because their match against Nairobi United, which was scheduled for last week, was rescheduled to a later date as the latter club was having a CAF Confederation Cup assignment over the weekend.

”Our match against Nairobi United, which was to be played this week, has been rescheduled to a later date. Our opponents will be having a CAF Confederation Cup assignment over the weekend. We play our next FKF-PL match on Friday, 3rd October, away to Posta Rangers at a match venue that will be communicated,” the statement said on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.

Meanwhile, after the Sofapaka draw, AFC Leopards skipper Ken Owino expressed disappointment after the team got their 2025 league campaign opener with a 1-1 frustrating stalemate. Speaking on Sunday, September 21, 2025, Owino admitted that they just fell short of executing their plan in the game.

“The result is not as we envisaged, as we did not get the three points. We had our plan for the game, but we did not maximise it well for our advantage,” he noted.
