Kericho County will host the 41st edition of the Kenya Communication Sports Organisation (KECOSO) games in July this year.

Members of KECOSO governing council made a courtesy call at the office of the Governor yesterday to discuss areas of partnership towards preparations for the games slated for July 25 to 29.

County Secretary, Joel Bett, on behalf of Governor Paul Chepkwony promised to work closely with the council in ensuring the success of the week-long event.

Bett said they are happy as a county for having been picked by the council to host one of the major sporting events in Kenya.

He revealed that the county would assemble all the stakeholders including KECOSO to roll out activities aimed at making the event a success story.

“The county is pleased for having been identified by the KECOSO governing council to play host to such an important event.”
