Kenya Simbas technical bench has named the squad that will be on duty in the Victoria Cup opener against Zambia in a match scheduled for King’s Park Arena in Kampala, Uganda.

There are 13 test debutantes in the Simbas squad where Paul Mutsami, Alfred Orege, Joel Inzuga, Hillary Mwanjilwa, Hibrahim Ayoo, Hillary Odhiambo, and Jeanson Misoga are all set to make their test debuts after being named in the side to start.

The front row has Ephraim Oduor, Teddy Akala and Hillary Mwanjilwa leading the park, while Ayoo and Odhiambo are in the second row.

George Nyambua captains the side in the back row, with Elkeans Musonye and debutant Misoga joining him.

Barry Young and Brian Wahinya have been handed starts start scrum-half and fly-half. Mutsami and Bryceson Adaka are in the midfield while the backline has Inzuga, Orege and Jone Kubu.

Emmanuel Otieno, Thomas Okidia, Wilhite Mususi, Brian Ndirangu, Peter Waitere, and Dan Ang’wech are potentially in line for their test debuts after being named on the substitute’s bench for this tie.
