Excitement has engulfed the sporting fraternity after reports emerged that a giant sports betting company, which had ceased operations after the government introduced stringent taxation measures, could be back in business soon.

Sources say there is a beehive of activity at the firm’s headquarters, including hiring of new staff and shipping in new betting equipment.

Various sporting clubs and federations are already positioning themselves for sponsorship deals.
