Have Gor Mahia and Tusker surrendered the FKF Premier League title to Police FC?

Gor Mahia’s chances of defending the Football Kenya Federation Premier League received yet another setback following a 0-0 draw against Murang’a Seal.
K’Ogalo travelled to Murang’a hoping to win and boost their chances of winning the title again but ended up dropping more points on Sunday, May 18, 2025.
Tusker also suffered their biggest defeat in recent history as they went down 7-1 to Sofapaka at Dandora Stadium on Sunday.
Batoto ba Mungu broke the deadlock when Edward Omondi scored in the 12th minute before the second one was scored by Wayne Otieno.
The 2009 Premier League champions kept applying pressure on their disjointed opponents and scored more through Jack Onganya. The brace hero found the back of the net in the 37th minute before scoring the second in stoppage time of the first half to make it 4-0.
Rodgers Kipkemoi won and converted a penalty in the 64th to pile more pressure on now disappointed Tusker, and this came after the Brewers had scored one from a good attacking play.
Omondi found himself on the scoresheet again when he scored in the 90th minute before Onganya registered his third in the stoppage time.

At Kenyatta Stadium, Kenya Police managed a 1-0 victory over Talanta to boost their chances of winning their first-ever top-tier title.
Police went into this game aware of the threat that Talanta could pose, given that their opponents had managed to stop title chasers Gor Mahia and Tusker.
With an assist from Charles Ouma, David Simiyu scored the vital goal for Police on a day that their title rivals were frustrated.
The Police now lead with 61 points from 32 matches; Tusker are second with 55 points from the same number of games.
K’Ogalo are third with 54 points from 31 games.
