The prospect of a move to DR Congo seems enticing for Mandela, given the uncertainty surrounding his future at his current club.

“TP Mazembe are in big ambition to sign Brian Onyango. He has been waiting for Sundowns without success. He might take the offer in DR Congo,” the source said.

During the recently concluded season, Mandela played a part in Mamelodi Sundowns’ successful campaign, which saw them clinch the Premier Soccer League title.
