The Harambee Starlets, Kenya’s women’s national football team, have arrived in Morocco ahead of their international friendly match scheduled for June 4, 2025, against the Moroccan women’s team.

The team, which arrived in Morocco on June 2, 2025, under the guidance of coach Beldine Odemba, who has been instrumental in shaping the team’s competitive edge.

Odemba is also well-known for her successful tenure as head coach of Kenya Police Bullets, leading them to back-to-back titles in the FKF Women’s Premier League. Her experience and tactical expertise continue to play a vital role.

Speaking upon arrival, Odemba highlighted the importance of such exposure, noting that playing away from home provides valuable experience against different playing styles and conditions.

“These matches are crucial for our development. Morocco is a competitive team, and this friendly will help us identify areas for improvement ahead of tougher fixtures,” she said.
