FKF PL Week 23: Gor Mahia set for Posta Rangers tussle as AFC Leopards host Nzoia Sugar
The Football Kenya Federation Premier League will enter week 23 over the weekend, with five games lined up for Saturday, three on Sunday, and one on Monday.
Kakamega Homeboyz will face FC Talanta at Thika Stadium in the early kickoff on Saturday before Tusker tackle Muhoroni Youth, with Kariobangi Sharks set for a duel against Nairobi City Stars.
In the second game at Thika Stadium, Bidco will be up against Sofapaka.
On Sunday, KCB and Murang’a Seal will face off at Police Pavillion in South B, while Shabana and Bandari tussle for three points at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.
At Nyayo Stadium, AFC Leopards will host Nzoia Sugar. Ingwe will be looking for another positive outcome this year, while Nzoia Sugar will hope to put an end to their winless run.
Ulinzi Stars will host Police FC at Lang’ata Sports Complex in a match set to kick off at 3:00 pm on Monday.
The Rangers game vs Gor Mahia is the highlight of Matchday 23. The Mailmen are second, as K’Ogalo lead with 47 points, which means it will be a do-or-die top-table clash.
Nzoia Sugar, Muhoroni Youth and Shabana will hope to get wins and points that will help them get out of the danger zone.
Tusker, Police, Bandari, and City Stars are all tied for 37 points, and this points out a tough duel in the third to sixth positions.
