Gor Mahia sends Andreas Spiers packing
Gor Mahia Football Club has officially parted ways with head coach Andreas Spiers following the completion of his six months contract.
The record Kenyan champions made the announcement on their official Facebook account on Tuesday, June 5.
“We can confirm that we have mutually parted ways with head coach Andreas Spiers. His contract ended and we are now in the market for a new coach. We wish him well,” Gor Mahia wrote.

Spiers was appointed as the club head coach on February 1, 2022, shortly after Paul Nkata had been appointed on an interim basis.
He has served as the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) technical director where he was mandated with the role of training coaches.
Prior to that, he worked in Germany as Eintracht Frankfurt’s Technical Director, he also worked as a head coach for Romania U18-U19 National team between 2014 and 2016.
