Gor Mahia, AFC Leopards set for Saturday friendlies
FKF Premier League football giants, Gor Mahia, are set to kickstart their pre-season friendlies with a match against fellow FKF Premier League side Bidco United on Saturday morning.
The game will take place at the Mpesa Foundation Academy in Thika, with kick-off scheduled for 10:00 am.
Gor Mahia recent disappointment
Gor Mahia, the reigning Kenya Cup champions, are eager to retain their title after a recent disappointment that saw them eliminated from the Champions League despite clinching the league championship last season. This was after the club’s licence was withdrawn.
The preseason friendly against Bidco United will serve as a vital opportunity for the team to fine-tune their strategies ahead of the upcoming season.
In another preseason encounter, AFC Leopards, under the guidance of their new Head Coach, Tom Juma, will be facing off against the Regional League side Bongonaya FC.

The match is set to take place at the Don Bosco grounds in Karen, simultaneously with the Gor Mahia vs Bidco United clash.
In Rwanda, FKF Premier League side Kenya Police FC are on their third international friendly match.
After drawing 1-1 against Tanzanian sides Singida and Namungo, they now face a challenging fixture against Rwandan outfit Rayon Sports at the Pele Stadium in Kigali, with kick-off scheduled for 5: 00pm.
On the same day, Bandari FC, another prominent team from Kenya’s top-flight league, will be crossing borders to face Tanzanian side Azam FC at the Chamazi Complex in Dar es Salaam.

Unfortunately, Kakamega Homeboyz suffered a 2-0 defeat, with Arafat Usama and Julius Poloto finding the net for the Ugandan side.
