Gaspo FC is now at the driving seat of the Kenya Women Premier League after racking up a 2-0 win over Vihiga Queens at Gems School ground.

The winners played with a sense of purpose throughout the match and were duly rewarded with two clinically executed goals by Gaspo’s goals by Anne Arusi and Emily Andayi. For Vihiga Queens, the loss was a big setback in their title ambitions and will certainly have to work hard to claim an honorable placing in the season.

In another other match, Wadadia beat Kangemi FC 4-2 with the victors finding the target through two-goal heroine Mercy “Olunga” Mung’uro with Monica Sungura and Jackline Chesang’ helping themselves with a goal each.

But not to be completely outdone, Kangemi Ladies scored their two goals through Consumpta Wanyama and Alice Nyaboke.
