FKF WPL Sunday fixtures, venues confirmed
The Football Kenya Federation Women’s Premier League (FKF WPL) is set to feature exciting matches on Sunday, October 8, 2023, with several teams keen to start their campaign on a high.
The first match of the day will see Gaspo Women FC take on Bunyore Starlets FC. This clash is scheduled to kick off at 12:00 p.m. and will be hosted at Stima Club in Nairobi.
FKF WPL in Kitale
In another exciting encounter, Trans Nzoia Falcons FC will face off against Zetech Sparks FC. The match is set to begin at 1:00 p.m. and will be held at the Ndura Sports Complex in Kitale.
Nakuru City Queens FC will go head-to-head with Wadadia FC in what promises to be a competitive showdown. This match is scheduled for a 2:00 p.m. kick-off and will take place at the A.S.K Grounds in Nakuru.
The action continues as defending Champions Vihiga Queens FC square off against Ulinzi Starlets FC. This clash is also scheduled to start at 2:00 p.m. at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu.
Vihiga and Ulinzi will face off for the second weekend in a row after batting out in the FKF Super Cup.
In the match, Ulinzi Starlets were crowned as winners of 2023 FKF Super Cup by defeating FKF Premier League Champions Vihiga Queens 2-0 in a match held at Utalii Grounds.
This match served as a curtain-raiser for the new season and featured teams that had claimed silverware in women’s competitions during the previous season.

Cindy Ngaira set up Joy Kinglady for the opening goal, giving Ulinzi a 1-0 lead at halftime. while in the second half, Ulinzi extended their lead when Mercy Airo found the net in the 58th minute.
FKF WPL commenced on Saturday with Bungoma Queens being held to a goalless draw by Kibera Soccer Ladies in Bungoma.
