Rampant Kenya Police, Ulinzi Starlets qualify for FKF Cup round of 16
KISPED Queens secured their spot in the round of 16 of the FKF Cup by defeating Makolanders in a thrilling preliminary match at Ruaraka grounds on Sunday, February 18, 2024,
KISPED took the lead in the 15th minute with a header from Ajwang Linda, maintaining a 1-0 advantage at halftime.

However, Makolanders mounted a strong comeback in the second half, scoring two quick goals by Aguvaya Hellen in the 56th minute and Origi Joyline in the 59th minute to take the lead.
Achieng Asha’s impressive free kick equalized for KISPED Queens, leading to a post-match penalty shootout where KISPED emerged victorious with a 5-4 scoreline.
In other matches, Ulinzi Starlets defeated TUK Ravens 6-0 to qualify, while Kenya Police Bullets advanced after a commanding 8-0 win over Embu Queen.
On Saturday, Nakuru City Queens and Royal Starlets secured their spots in the round of 16 with convincing victories.
Nakuru City Queens defeated NYS Queens 4-1, with Lenah Wanjala scoring twice, while Royal Starlets won 3-0 against Nairobi Starlets, thanks to goals from Brenda Mukunga and Mary Juma.
Milima Queens also advanced, adding to the excitement of the upcoming round of 16 matches.
The FKF Women’s Cup is set to resume on April 6th with the round of 16.
