AFC Leopards midfielder Munyendo has conveyed his gratitude to the club’s fans after being named the Fans Player of the Season in the 2025 season.

Munyendo was among the notable winners as the club’s end-of-season awards gala went down on Saturday, July 26, 2025, in Bungoma County.

The marauding anchorman beat Ingwe’s skipper, Clifton Miheso, and his assistant Victor Omune to the awards exclusively reserved for the fans to pick the winner.

Following the recognition, Munyendo took to his Facebook page to thank the club’s loyal supporters.

In addition to the Fans awards, Munyendo also came close in the midfielders’ awards, where he ranked second behind winner Musa Oundo, who was named AFC Leopardsโ€™ best of the season in the category.

Youngster Kelly Madada ranked third in the category.

Bandi dominates

Defender Lewis Esambe Bandi was crowned the ultimate winner after taking home the Most Valuable Player (MVP).

Bakari, on his part, went home with the Player’s Player award after topping the list ahead of Ronald Sichenje.
