Football Kenya Federation Premier League bigwigs, AFC Leopards, and their perennial rivals Gor Mahia will all be in action this weekend as the country’s top tier enters round eight with fixtures scheduled at different venues nationwide.

On Friday, November 7, 2025, former champions Tusker FC edged Bidco United 1-0 at the Kasarani Annex, bouncing back to their winning ways after a 1-1 stalemate against log leaders Kakamega Homeboyz in their previous outing at Bukhungu Stadium.

Saturday action

Saturday, November 8, features two exciting clashes. Shortly after trashing Bandari 3-1 in their last league assignments, Nairobi United will take on Kariobangi Sharks at the Dandora Stadium starting at 3:00 pm, in what is expected to be a fast-paced Nairobi derby.

Meanwhile, at 1:00 PM, Mara Sugar welcomes resurgent AFC Leopards to the Green Stadium, Awendo, for a classic battle between a rising side and a traditional powerhouse.

Ingwe, who are currently enjoying a 14-match unbeaten run in the league, will be seeking to cement their position among the top three teams in the league standings, while the Sugar Millers of Mara will be out, trying to spoil the party for the 1998 champions.

Sunday assignments

Sunday, November 9, is the busiest day of the round, with five games scheduled across the country. Ulinzi Stars will face the struggling Shabana FC at the Ulinzi Sports Complex from 2:00 pm, while newbies APS Bomet take on Mathare United at Green Stadium, Kericho, at the same time.

At 3:00 pm, leaders Kakamega Homeboyz host Murang’a Seal at Bukhungu Stadium, and Bandari FC welcome KCB at the KPA Sports Club in Mombasa.

The day’s highlight match sees holders Kenya Police FC square off against record champions Gor Mahia at the Nyayo Stadium from 4:00 pm, a clash that promises fireworks given both teams’ strong squads and ambitions for the title.

Gor Mahia will be seeking to bag maximum points after enduring a frustrating 1-1 draw against Ulinzi Stars in their previous outing, while Police will be aiming to build on their 1-0 win over Posta Rangers in their last outing.
