Bob Njagi and Nicholas Oyoo were abducted in Kampala by armed operatives at a petrol station in Kireka, where they had gone for mechanical assistance. Their abduction has sparked outrage from opposition leaders and human rights defenders regionally, the latest being Mary Lawlor.
In her X statement released on Friday, October 10, 2025, Lawlor asked relevant authorities to investigate the disappearance of the two Kenyans whose whereabouts are still unknown, almost two weeks after their disappearance.
