Several people are feared dead and others injured after a passenger bus collided with a truck along the Kisumu-Busia highway.

Part of the passenger bus was wrecked by the long-distance truck as passengers were evacuated from the bus, which had veered off the road near Lela in Kisumu County.

The rear side of the bus was completely wrecked from the impact of the collision, painting a grim picture of the state of the passengers inside the bus.
