Kenyan gospel artiste Man Ingwe (now Mr Leopard) has opened up on his battle with depression, saying that doing music helped him overcome the dark patch.

The singer, who has announced his official comeback into music with his new song titled Panda Mbegu, intimates to Spice that he feels invigorated and his upcoming music projects will focus on mental health among other issues dogging the society.

“I have previously been doing music just for purposes of relevance, as I battled depression.

But God came through for me and I was able to pull myself together. I now announce my full time, full throttle and full blast comeback to the music scene with all the dynamics that go along with the territory.

My next phase of music will focus a little more on societal issues, mental and emotional wellness with a clear hope domiciled in God’s word, but specifically laced with my little professional knowledge as a student of clinical psychology.

My delivery will always be true to the already built comic brand,” he says.
