Embattled Jubilee Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni has confirmed receipt of petitions to commence disciplinary action against nominated MP Sabina Chege, Eldas MP Adan Keynan and EALA MP Kanini Kega.

In a post shared on the Jubilee party’s social media platforms, the besieged ex-legislator stated that the petitions against the trio have been forwarded to the Jubilee Party Disciplinary Committee for action.

The three lawmakers who led over 30 Jubilee MPs in a meeting with President William Ruto and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua have been accused by the petitioner of; acting in a manner disloyal to Jubilee Party, advancing positions that are contrary to the position of Jubilee Party, demonstrating lack of respect to the decision made by Jubilee Party and demonstrating lack of respect for Jubilee Party organs.

Kioni’s statement comes hours after the faction that avowed support to President William Ruto announced his dismissal as the outfit’s Secretary General.

Speaking after a parliamentary group meeting in Nakuru, The Jubilee Party Chairman Nelson Dzuya announced the dismissal of the former Ndaragwa MP as the Secretary General of the Uhuru-led outfit.

The party leadership stated that the former lawmaker has been suspended on the basis of laxity and misconduct.

The party’s top brass announced that EALA MP Kanini Kega will take over as the acting Secretary General.
