Kesses MP Swarup Mishra has been nominated to the regional body, Parliamentarians for Peace Programme (P4P).

P4P constitutes a network of legislators from different countries, with various political cultures, from diverse intellectual backgrounds, who stand together with a strong conviction.

“Our world needs political leadership. We cannot lose control of the digital revolution or waste time in the fight against climate change,” Mishra said during his acceptance speech in Nairobi.

Joining the P4P community, Mishra will become the first Kenyan Legislator first East African member of the network. As a legislator, He will be privy to a growing network of national representatives and be offered support to advocate internationally your ideas on the most pressing geopolitical issue

“Having considered Hon. Dr Mishra’s illustrious political career and fronting of his ‘servant leadership’ philosophy and his extensive experience in the medical sector during the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as his international background, P4P seeks in Hon Dr Mishra, leadership a voice of reasoning for transformative global agendas,” the regional said in a press statement.

Dr Mishra’s nomination to the Programme, sees him join nineteen other renowned parliamentarians from all around the world.

The P4P Programme plans to convene senior and reputable MPs from all around the world to tackle the challenges discussed at the Normandy World Peace Forum.
