With a flawless record, Shujaa secured victories against Chile, Portugal, and Japan, accumulating nine points.

Kenya 7s possible semis opponents

In another quarterfinal match, Hong Kong China will go head-to-head against Tonga. Hong Kong emerged as the leaders of Pool B with maximum points, while Tonga qualified as the best-performing team among the losers.

Uruguay will take on Georgia in the third quarterfinal. Uruguay dominated Pool A with a perfect nine points, while Georgia advanced as the top team among the best-performing losers.

Meanwhile, Uganda, who finished second in Pool B, are scheduled to clash against Chile in what promises to be an intense encounter.

The women’s standings leaders, China, secured their place in the HSBC SVNS promotion and relegation playoff competition in Madrid after an outstanding performance in the third and final round of the World Rugby HSBC Sevens Challenger 2024.
