The differences between Isiolo Senator Fatuma Dullo and Governor Abdi Guyo seem to be getting out of hand after the senator claimed yesterday that her life is in danger due to her oversight role.

Dullo claimed that certain powerful individuals working in the county government of Isiolo have allegedly hatched a scheme to assassinate her.

In a personal statement issued on the floor of the senate, Dullo who revealed that she had already reported the matter to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) said that she is aware of a meeting held on Wednesday allegedly to plan for her elimination.

She said: “I am aware that on 30th October 2024 a meeting was held and attended by 10 county governments employees and where discussions centered on planning an attempt on my life. This attempt includes plans for my assassination which is a very serious crime.”

She added: “Should anything happen to me, my family and supporters, the county government of Isiolo should be responsible for this. I have reported the matter to DCI for further investigations.”
