Nyamira Governor John Obiero Nyagarama is dead, his family has announced.

Governor Nyagarama breathed his last on Friday morning at the Nairobi Hospital where he was receiving treatment.

The family and his party the Orange Democratic Party(ODM) are set to address the press this morning.
