The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) are seeking to detain Wangari for 14 days at the Kilimani Police Station or any other police station to enable them to complete investigations.

According to the court papers, they are investigating a possible case of suspected poisoning, which could have occurred at Wangari’s residence.

According to Sergeant Rhoda Nzioka, they established that when the deceased requested to rest at Wangari’s master bedroom after they had shared a meal.

The court papers reveal that she later joined the deceased, and they got intimate, where the deceased developed complications.
