FKF PL: Tusker brace for AFC Leopards challenge as Gor Mahia clash with Shabana

Football Federation Premier League action will continue on Saturday, May 3, 2025, with two matches lined up.
Bidco United will host Bandari FC at Kenyatta Stadium in a game that will kick off at 1:00 pm.
Thereafter, title-chasing Tusker will play AFC Leopards. This is a match that the Brewers will not afford to lose, given that they are engaged in a tight race with Kenya Police and Gor Mahia.
Police lead the race with 52 points, one more than Tusker, who are second, and one more point than third-placed Gor Mahia.
Ingwe will also want to win and boost their bid of finishing in the top third at the end of the season.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, May 4, 2025, Mara Sugar will host Ulinzi Stars at Awendo Green Stadium, with the match set to start at 2:00 pm.
The biggest game of the day will be at Gusii Stadium, where Shabana FC are set to host Gor Mahia. Given the hype around the game, attention will shift to the showdown as these traditional Kenyan clubs clash.

To maintain law and order, Tore Bobe have already confirmed the seating arrangement of both sets of fans during the game.
“Shabana FC fans have been allocated G1, G2, G3, G4, G5, G6, G7, G8, and G9 regular stands. Gor Mahia fans have been allocated G10, G11, G12, and G13 regular stands.
“GSU officers will be stationed in between G9 and G10 to be a buffer between Shabana FC fans and Gor Mahia fans. Shabana FC fans have been assigned the green stripe stand in the VIP, while Gor Mahia fans have been assigned the double red stand.
“The VVIP Pavilion will be shared equally by both teams. Be your brother’s keeper; throwing objects into the field of play is highly prohibited. Maintain law and order,” Shabana said in a statement.
Finally, Kenya Police and Shabana will meet at Kenyatta Stadium while Murang’a Seal will battle Nairobi City Stars. On Monday, May 5, Kakamega Homeboyz will play Posta Rangers.
