Ovotox eyes partnership with New York film academy to hone students media skills

Kenyan-based creative arts institution Ovotox International School (OIS)is set to partner with New York Film Academy in a move to strengthen media studies in the institution.
The institution’s Managing Director and founder Tonnie Kamau (pictured) said that forming a formidable force with the already established institution will impact on student skills as well as give them exposure to potential employers.
“This partnership means a lot to Ovotox students,the exposure they will get will make them more marketable in the industry of film making,” he said.
Through this partnership there will be exchange programs for both parties, which will give Ovotox students more exposure to the international film making standards.
Kamau said the school is ready to finance its students for this program. “As an institution, we are looking forward to working with different international partners as well as local partners to enhance service delivery.
We want to equip our students with requisite skills needed in their daily activity while also exposing them to the World,” Kamau said.
He added that the school has also also partnered with Conflux Ai (A Technology partner) to provide proper education and power creatives not only for the creative industry, but also help them dominate world industries.
“Ovotox is the first school in Kenya to offer Creative Multimedia Diploma courses with the integration of Artificial intelligence to Fuel the Demand for Digital Revolution.

New York Film Academy is one of the best schools across the world in creative arts.
Because of the partnership students from Ovotox will also be considered for their scholarship program to African students.
He revealed that that the school has developed an education programme that provides valuable information and training opportunities tailored to interest everyone from industry newbie to the seasoned veterans.
“Course participants explore important topics in greater depth, including the business aspects of film production, effective marketing techniques, economic development impact and reporting, and the importance of alliances with top industry players,” he said.
He urged other media training institution to start working closely with other players to improve service delivery.
