President must crack the whip in his Cabinet

The ongoing trial of Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mithika Linturi should serve as a serious wake up call to President William Ruto on his choices. While Linturi has not been found guilty of any violation, there is no doubt that farmers received fake fertiliser.
This in itself should trigger the President to admit that there is a problem in his Cabinet that requires him to make hard decisions.
As Wanjiku, we are still wondering how the President, who has been on record that he will make bold decisions is yet to sack ministers who continue to let Kenyans down due to incompetence.
Though I am not educated as much, it is my firm belief that most of the people sitting in the Cabinet are there for their personal gains.
If they are not buying expensive jewelry, they are competing with a well known governor to construct skyscrapers for their retirement.
Some are even worse. Imagine how a whole CS could send a communique late at night announcing the postponement of school reopening. And he did not even try to apologize for late communication. Another continues to shout in funerals in response to his village senator while the roofs at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport continue to leak. Another has decided to deny adverts to the media that built him while another is sponsoring opinion polls in his favour.
