Ol Kalou by-election: UDA candidate Muchina vows to prioritise service delivery
United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidate for the Ol Kalou Constituency by-election, Samuel Muchina Nyagah, has vowed to prioritise development and service delivery if elected, saying his campaign is anchored on addressing the needs of residents.
Speaking at the UDA headquarters after receiving a nomination certificate on May 14, 2026, Muchina said he is fully committed to working for the people of Ol Kalou and ensuring that local development challenges are addressed.

Kwa hivyo sisi tukiwa tumesimama hapa, nikiwa na timu hii ambayo tulikuwa tunashindana nao, we were standing, and we were contesting for progress for the people of Ol Kalou,” Muchina stated.
Development-driven politics
According to Muchina, his bid is driven by a desire to bring tangible change to the constituency, promising to champion projects that improve livelihoods and strengthen service delivery at the grassroots.

He noted that he will work together with the team they were competing with for the nominations, stating that they prioritised politics of progress to people of Ol Kalou rather than politics of hate.
