Jubilee Party Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni has pledged that the party will prioritise national unity over tribal, class, or religious divisions as it positions itself ahead of the 2027 general election.

In a statement posted on his X account on Tuesday, January 14, 2026, Kioni said Jubilee has adopted a firm ideological stance of putting Kenya first in all its political engagements.

“Jubilee has a clear, unified agreement: we will always approach issues from a national perspective. Our ideology is simple and firm: Kenya first! not tribe, class, or religion,” Kioni stated.

Ending divisive politics

Kioni underscored the party’s commitment to ending cycles of divisive politics that, he said, have long hindered national progress, declaring that Jubilee would work to unite the country and move beyond the politics of division.

“We are committed to uniting our country and ending the cycle of divisive politics that has held us back for far too long. We know better,” he said.

The Secretary General dismissed what he described as empty political rhetoric, suggesting that Kenyans deserve more substantive political discourse.

“Our country deserves better than empty rhetoric and hollow narratives,” Kioni stated.

Restoring Kenya’s dignity

The statement comes weeks after Kioni reaffirmed Jubilee’s commitment to national reform, urging a return to ethical leadership and people-centred governance.

Speaking on Sunday, November 9, 2025, he highlighted the importance of integrity and compassion in political leadership.

“Our mission is clear: to serve, to rebuild, and to rescue our country from the weight of broken promises. At a time when our nation yearns for honest leadership, justice, and compassion, Jubilee stands firm in faith and purpose, committed to restoring integrity, dignity, and hope to the Kenyan people,” he said.
