Jubilee Party leadership held a focused meeting with aspirants from Murang’a County, aiming to align grassroots candidates with the party’s vision and the needs of local communities

In a statement shared on X on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, Jubilee Deputy Party Leader in charge of party operations, Jeremiah Kioni, pointed out that the session was designed to foster dialogue and constructive engagement among party members and aspirants.

“Met with Jubilee Party aspirants from Murang’a County in a constructive and engaging session focused on the future of our party and our country,” Kioni wrote.

The deputy party leader emphasised that the party remains committed to creating space for grassroots leaders to express their views, while ensuring candidates’ plans resonate with the aspirations of the wananchi.

“Jubilee continues to lead by example as a party that’s giving space to grassroots leaders and those seeking elective positions to share their views, concerns, and aspirations. These conversations are critical in shaping a people-centred approach and ensuring that our candidates are well aligned with the needs of the wananchi and the ideologies of our party,” Kioni wrote.

Kioni further stressed that the party will provide guidance and strengthen its structures to empower leaders who are genuinely committed to serving the nation.

“As we move forward, we remain committed to providing clear direction, strengthening our structures, and supporting leaders who are ready to serve the nation,” he added.

The session comes amid heightened political activity in Murang’a County, with multiple aspirants preparing to contest for various elective positions under the Jubilee Party banner. The party leader said the meetings are meant to ensure candidates are equipped to serve effectively and deliver on community priorities.

The party leader stressed that Jubilee Party aims to maintain cohesion, encourage accountability, and strengthen its engagement with the electorate ahead of the forthcoming nominations and general elections.
