‘I’ve been excluded from all party communications’ – Jalang’o says over fallout with ODM
Lang’ata MP Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang’o now claims he has been excluded from all party communications, following his fallout with the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party.
Speaking to NTV, Jalang’o however denied claims that he had betrayed the party by openly deciding to work with the Kenya Kwanza administration.
“Sasa hivi nimetolewa katika communications zote za chama. So siwezi jua hata kama kuna chochote chama inataka tusimame nayo siwezi jua. (I have been excluded from all party communications. If there is any party stand I can’t know),” Jalang’o said.
“Nimemsaliti nani? (Whom have I betrayed?”
This comes days after the legislator vowed to work with President Ruto, terming him as “Kenya One”.
“Our resolve to work with HE William Ruto was not a gimmick! We will support the president and we must support the President! When the President loses we all lose! Ruto is Kenya 1,” he said.
Jalang’o has been at loggerheads with ODM for associating with the government side, with the Party Leader Raila Odinga accusing him among other politicians of betraying the party.
Other politicians who have rebelled from the opposition include Kisumu Senator Prof Tom Ojienda and MPs Gideon Ochanda (Bondo), Mark Nyamita (Uriri), Paul Abuor (Rongo), Elisha Odhiambo (Gem).
